We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our busy team.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design who enjoys working directly with customers and seeing projects through from concept to final production. The successful candidate will assist clients with a variety of design requirements, prepare artwork for print, and support the day-to-day design and production needs of the business.
As this is a retail based position, you will be expected to assist clients on the shop floor as well as do design and print work. Experience in this industry is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design marketing materials, flyers, brochures, business cards, posters, banners and other promotional items.
- Create and amend artwork according to client requirements.
- Prepare artwork for print and production.
- Assist customers with design queries and provide creative solutions.
- Ensure artwork meets quality and production specifications.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organised digital files and artwork records.
- Work closely with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Graphic Design qualification or relevant design experience.
- Basic knowledge of large-format printing and finishing processes.
- Good understanding of print production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and professional.
Essentials:
- Experience in a print shop, signage company, copy centre or similar environment.
- Proficiency in CorelDraw
- Experience working directly with customers.
Working hours
- Monday - Friday 8:00 - 17:00
- Every second Saturday 9:00 - 13:00
