Job Description:
Our client is an independent consultant in the agricultural industry in the Western Cape.
They assist producers with implementation of systems and audit preparation for audits which mainly include: GLOBAL G.A.P. with all Add-ons, WIETA and SIZA.
Provide assistance with registration and verification of special markets on Phytclean.
Be prepared to visit clients, assist with administrative obligations regarding the audits and also make recommendations and advise on the requirements of the relevant standard.
After successfully completing a trial period and training period, clients will be allocated to the candidate. The candidate will have to go through the complete audit process with the candidate: Quotations, registrations, document preparation, implementation of the standard, site preparation, pre-audit, audit attendance, submission of corrections, follow-up until issuance of the certificate.
Qualifications:
Own reliable transport and valid applicable licence
At least matric
Previous knowledge and experience of WIETA/SIZA & GLOBAL G.A.P.
Agricultural background and basic knowledge
Strong administrative aptitude and detail oriented
Good computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
Good proficiency in Afrikaans and English, with the ability to spell correctly in both languages
Willingness to help
Reliable, honest, self-driven, ambitious, calm and willingness to learn and to keep up-to-date with changes in the industry and with auditing standards.
Must be willing to work after hours sometimes
Team player who will be willing to go the extra mile.
