About the Role:
M-Scents is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, social media, and brand development. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day marketing activities, support content creation, and help strengthen M-Scents' online presence while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms.
* Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling engaging social media content.
* Support the marketing team with content creation, promotional campaigns, and community engagement.
* Track and report on social media performance and audience engagement.
* Assist in developing ideas to enhance brand awareness and customer interaction.
* Help coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and in-store activations.
* Maintain consistency across all digital platforms in line with brand guidelines.
* Perform general administrative tasks to support the marketing department as required.
Minimum Requirements:
* Currently studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be advantageous.
* Creative, proactive, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills:
* Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
* Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Passion for retail, fashion, beauty, or fragrance brands is advantageous.
