Job Title: IsiZulu Foundation Phase Teacher
Location: Pinnacle College, Modderfontein, Edenvale
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced IsiZulu Foundation Phase Teacher to join our team at Pinnacle College Founders Hill. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and promoting the IsiZulu language to students at the foundation phase level.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and objectives of the foundation phase IsiZulu program
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience for students
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Proficiency in IsiZulu language
- Experience teaching IsiZulu at the foundation phase level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- School hours Monday-Friday
- Occasional evening or weekend events may be required
