Job Description
Bosch is looking to employ an experienced Sales Director in the Mobility Aftermarket division to manage the Pan-African Business.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for amongst other the following;

Build up and manage Pan-African Business framework for the Mobility Aftermarket (MA) division

Strategy definition and implementation to sustainably grow (turnover, profit and market share increase) MA business in Africa key Portuguese speaking countries

Strategy definition and establishment of MA business for special customers (e.g. non-automotive) in Africa
-
Support to fast track the growth of Off-highway business in Africa incl. disciplinary steering of local associates
-
Establish governance in sales excellence for MA Africa
-
Responsible for all activities on distributor-, wholesaler- and workshop level within defined scope of responsibility

Lead all Country functional groups (e.g. Sales) for the scope of responsibility as far as they are located in the same country

Apply leadership instruments as department sub-regional head, implement a growth culture, internalize and apply Bosch leadership principles

Anticipate trends and their impact on own area of responsibility

Responsible for budget in scope of responsibility

Establish, maintain and develop customer relationships
-
Drive and support acquisition of new customers which fit the MA strategy
-
Negotiate, agree and confirm annual customer agreements/contracts: personally or supported by Sales Team
-
Support expansion of Bosch Diesel Service and Module network
-
Systematic realization and exploitation of business opportunities and systematic introduction of new products
-
Conclusion of target agreements with customers at the beginning of each year, systematic follow-up during the year
-
Regular market/customer visits and up to 30% travelling

Arranging for regular sales-oriented product trainings
-
Management of profit and loss calculation, business planning, and PCR (Price Change Rate), methods of accounting

Implement project planning and management, project presentation and documentation / project controlling
Requirements;
-
7+ years working experience in a business-to-business automotive spare parts sales including IAM, Off-highway and distribution channels

7 + years working experience in sales and marketing management environment in a leadership role

Solid technical understanding related to the automotive industry

Previous exposure to role with P&L responsibility or similar

Experience working with cross-functional and intercultural teams

Excellent negotiation skills
-
Familiar with working in a Multinational/ Corporate environment

Solid communication skills in English and Portuguese (Speak / Read / Write)

German language skills would be an advantage

Fully computer literate in MS Office packages, Outlook and SAP

Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12)

Completed Honors degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Economic Sciences or related field

MBA degree or similar qualification required
