Job Title: Digital Account Executive
Location: Cape Town
This is a client facing position where the candidate will be working directly with the WC client on two Social Media accounts. The candidate needs to understand the process of accepting a brief from the client, preparing briefs for Studio, checking the proofs and presenting design work to the client.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure that all client & team documentation is available at the time and quality required fully informing the client and the team.
- To help manage and co-ordinate elements of each client campaign. This includes providing hands-on support, effective communication with the client and maintaining a general positive spirit for the team.
- Ensure that the production and media approvals are managed by receiving, reporting, issuing requisitions and action handling all activity associated with client job within time and budget.
- Compile content plans and assist with copy and creative where necessary.
- Support AM and AD in day-to-day tasks.
- Oversee packaging of all digital media content to send to third parties, including the regional teams
- Put together monthly reports and insights on all campaigns (paid and always on)
- Assist with inputting digital and social media strategic and creative rationales for campaigns with the creative team.
- Work directly with the client’s Digital Controller.
- Ensure Community Manager has relevant Content Plan and all assets to be able to schedule
- Ensure creatives have all the correct specs needed for paid media campaigns, liaise with the media team with regards to chase lists and deadlines
MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clear understanding of the digital media environment, including the objectives and purpose of media buying
- Book all media timeously and have a keen eye for detailed briefs
- Ensure the media department has all necessary documentation on time and it is all correct
- Liase with the media department regarding chase lists and deadlines
PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To develop skills and knowledge within yourself through on the job development, active participation in the agency and gaining additional formal qualifications
- Provide feedback to your team regarding improvements that could be made to the agency.
- To coach and mentor colleagues or external people in order to develop the skills required to be an effective mentor and coach
- Create clear development plans for yourself and set out to achieve your goals.
- To be able to communicate clearly on your needs in order to be able to carry out function effectively.
