About the Role
We are seeking a Dealer Principal for our BMW Vereeniging dealership, a pivotal leadership position focused on driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will oversee all dealership operations, including sales, service, and finance, ensuring alignment with brand standards and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the dealership team to achieve sales and service objectives effectively.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including customer service, inventory management, and financial performance.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Foster strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor and analyze dealership performance metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure optimal product availability and quality assurance.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages growth and development.
Requirements
- Proven track record in dealership management or similar roles within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and staff.
- Demonstrable experience in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Sound understanding of automotive sales processes and customer service best practices.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive informed business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant degree or qualification in business administration, automotive management, or related fields.
- Experience with BMW products and systems highly regarded.
- Certification in dealer management or completion of relevant industry courses is advantageous.
- Experience in digital marketing and online sales strategies to enhance dealership visibility.
