2. POSITION PURPOSE
The holder of this position will provide support to the CEO in a timely and professional manner, providing high-quality administrative and clerical assistance.
The Personal Executive Assistant’s main duties include scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, compiling reports, and organising daily calendars.
To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
The successful candidate will be familiar with office management technologies and program / applications.
The incumbent will need to identify and address the needs of CEO and proactively perform administrative tasks to ensure the company’s workflow runs smoothly.
The position requires an independent, energetic, and adaptable professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 Qualification is a must
Tertiary qualification a plus
Financial Experience is also required
Proven work experience of at least 10 years as a personal assistant / executive assistant
Solid experience with office management systems & practices
Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
Qualifications as a personal executive assistant, office management or administration or secretary advantageous
Advanced Excel and Word capabilities and demonstrable
Executive acumen abilities
Knowledge:
Proficient in various software packages e.g. Microsoft office, etc.
Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
Knowledge of office procedures
Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems
