Job Overview
We are seeking Qualified Field Technicians with at least 4 years of directly related experience in catering and industrial kitchen equipment. This role involves servicing, repairing, installing, and maintaining various types of equipment used in commercial kitchens and industrial food preparation environments. You must be able to identify and troubleshoot issues independently and handle a wide range of equipment breakdowns and installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Servicing & Repairs: Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of catering equipment, including stoves, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, small kitchen appliances, and gas-powered equipment.
Installations: Install and set up new equipment at client sites, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment lifespan.
Problem Identification: Quickly and accurately diagnose issues during service calls and provide effective solutions.
Training & Upskilling: Participate in regular training workshops on new and existing equipment to stay updated with industry developments.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer queries, explaining repairs and installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Travel: The role requires travel to client sites, including occasional overnight trips. Overtime, night shifts, and weekend work may be required based on client needs.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:
Must be a qualified Electrician or Refrigeration Technician.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with catering equipment, including gas, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Technical Skills:
Strong technical abilities in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with gas, refrigeration, and electrical safety standards.
Communication Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
Must have a valid driver's license and passport, with the willingness to travel as needed.
