SACS seeks to employ a fully-qualified, experienced, dynamic Foundation Phase Teacher whose diversity, commitment and energy will add value to our FP Team and School. Qualifications and Experience:
Foundation Phase teaching qualification with class teaching experience.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with specialisation in Foundation Phase and class teaching experience.
Commencing from 1 January 2027.
- Knowledge and experience of the CAPS Curriculum, with Whole-Child Development of FP boys in mind, and an ability to implement Inquiry-Based Learning methodologies.
- An excellent command of the English language. Experience with Jolly Phonics and Afrikaans will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Thinking Schools Pedagogy will be beneficial.
- Strong computer literacy, including the use of multimedia teaching methods. (Proficiency with the Google Platform would be advantageous.)
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to contribute to the Summer and Winter Extra-Mural Programme.
- Commitment to the all-inclusive ethos, life and spirit of our school.
