Lexdan Select is assisting a client with their search for a Financial Accountant, based in Constantia, Western Cape:
Functions:
- Prepare journal entries
- Capture cash books and reconcile
- Perform intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare fixed asset purchase approval documents
- Verify stock transactions and reconcile stock takes and report variances
- Assist with production of financial and management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of supporting documents for relevant SARS audits
- Assist with audit file preparation for both internal and external auditors
- Work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure robust financial controls
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting / Finance degree
- Experience with XERO is preferred
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and pivot tables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
