Green Building Consultant – Join the EDGE Revolution! (Remote / Hybrid)

Ecolution Consulting is looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed Green Building Consultant to manage EDGE certification projects across Africa. You won't just be ticking boxes—you'll be the go-to technical expert guiding developers, architects, and contractors toward measurable net-zero outcomes.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Leading EDGE certification processes from registration to final audit (You'll become one of our internal EDGE Experts – pun intended).
- Analysing architectural drawings and running building performance calculations.
- Conducting site visits and assessments to verify green interventions are implemented correctly.
- Writing clear, concise sustainability reports that clients actually understand.
- Managing project timelines and coordinating with clients, engineers, and developers.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: 2–4 years in the built environment (green building experience is a massive plus, but we will train the right technically minded person).
- Tech Skills: MS Office Suite (Excel is non-negotiable), Adobe PDF, and a natural aptitude for reading technical drawings.
- The "X-Factor": You don't just take notes—you identify problems and suggest solutions. You can manage 5 deadlines at once without dropping the ball, and you have the emotional intelligence to handle client relationships smoothly.
Highly Advantageous (But Not Essential):
- EDGE Expert or Auditor accreditation.
- Green Star SA Accredited Professional (New Build, EBP, or Interiors).
