Position: Sales Administrator

Overview:
The Sales Administrator will handle administrative tasks, process orders, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and communicates well.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing purchase orders.
- Issuing sales transaction invoices.
- Verifying orders, including clients’ personal information and payment details.
- Contacting clients by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
- Maintaining and updating sales and client records.
- Expediting orders through internal liaison.
- Directing feedback from clients to relevant departments.
- Filing important documents online and communicating relevant information.
- Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material.
- Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
- Store and sort financial and non-financial data in online software tools.
- Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
- Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
- Identify shortcomings, and propose improvements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in sales administration, or a similar role.
- Experience using sales and accounting software (Xero & Monday.com experience will be an advantage)
- Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Sheets & Docs (Google Workspace)
- Bilingual in English & Afrikaans
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well organised, strong attention to detail, with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attitude and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
