An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Substation Construction Specialist to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- Accredited training in Substation Construction (mandatory).
- Minimum 12 years' proven experience in substation construction.
- Extensive experience in:
- High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) Substations.
- Electrical Infrastructure Projects.
- Substation Civil and Electrical Construction.
- Installation of transformers, switchgear, busbars, protection and control equipment.
- Testing, commissioning, and energisation of substations.
- Thorough understanding of applicable South African standards, quality management systems, and health and safety requirements.
- Strong planning, supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
