We are seeking a reliable and passionate Cook to join our contract catering team within a corporate dining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.

Prepare, cook, and present meals according to approved menus and recipes. Ensure food is produced to the highest quality and presentation standards. Assist with food preparation and production for daily meal services. Maintain portion control and minimise food wastage. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations. Ensure all workstations, equipment, and storage areas are kept clean and organised. Assist with stock control, stock rotation, and receiving deliveries. Support special functions, hospitality events, and client requirements. Work closely with the catering team to ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain positive relationships with clients and customers.
Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant food preparation or culinary qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a catering, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or corporate dining environment.
