We're looking for HR Data & Systems Analyst to play a vital part in supporting data-driven decision-making by providing data and insights to the HR function and wider business stakeholders, as well as leveraging maximum efficiency and value from our HR systems.
People Data Reporting & Analytics (45%)
- Develop and maintain a dashboard/suite of People KPI’s on a scalable (functional BU to global) level, to include:
- Key recruitment metrics e.g. time to fill and hiring costs
- Retention, turnover and internal mobility rates
- Benchmarked reward framework data in relation to compensation and benefits
- Analysis of employee engagement data employee performance objectives, reviews and personal development
- Ensure the recurring reporting schedule is fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner, to include:
- Completion of the Monthly Board Report (MBR) report for the HR function
- Provision of Monthly Board Report (MBR) data to the HR Business Partners for their respective functions
- Provision of people data reporting to business stakeholders to support wider systems alignment e.g. Quality eQMS, IT Azure directory
- Provide global data for annual/cyclical HR processes such as:
- Salary and bonus review
- Performance management
- Benefit renewals & take-up analysis
- RFI data submissions
- Analyse HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic HR decisions, and identify opportunities for improving HR processes and systems based on data analysis.
- Partner on data-driven projects both within the HR team and wider business; take part in requirements gathering with stakeholders to understand their data needs and utilise knowledge of HR and Clinigen processes to shape the reporting offering and relevant insights.
- Collaborate with Group Finance to ensure headcount and cost centre information is aligned cross-functionally
- Support ad-hoc data requests from the CPO and HR team in a timely and collaborative way, to ensure a right first time approach
People Data Management (30%)
- Act as global SME for the HR systems and have centralised oversight of data management, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure HR data is managed in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining data security and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the HR Operations team and wider HR function to promote and train a best-practice approach to data collection, management and storage
- Run regular people data quality checks across our HR systems and spreadsheets and collaborate with/educate the wider HR team to support the clean & available data across the HR data infrastructure
- Process global bulk people data requests (creation, updates, logbooks)
HR Systems & Infrastructure (20%)
- Lead on HR system and Artificial Intelligence (AI) automation projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain current HR system links (e.g. PHR to C1) in order to minimise manual workarounds and duplication, and leverage new links as and when they become available
- Lead on the development and implementation of new HR platforms, people data business intelligence and data products
- Maintain a suite of HR system training documents and deliver system and reporting training to the HR team and wider business as required
- Provide centralised ‘2nd line’ support for all global HR systems (PeopleHR, ClinigenOne, Clear Review, Peakon, etc) to include:
- Data provenance, configuration, troubleshooting, report building and maintenance
- Coordination of all project stages within the implementation of upgrades/updates to existing systems including testing and training rollout
Project/Process & Operations Support (5%)
- Respond to specific people data/systems ticket escalations as part of the HR Ops team in line with SLA’s as required
- Become the HR SharePoint SME ownership from a HR Operations standpoint and ensure the Public and Private sites are well maintained
- Manage the monthly org chart process, coordinating with the global HR team to ensure documentation is up to date and accurate
- Support HR Operations project and process coordination through planning and regular reviews and contribute to global HR efforts.
- Provide ad-hoc data support to the HR Operations team during peak periods as required
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as an HR Analyst or similar role, preferably within a global business
- Strong background in HR information systems, reporting and data analytics.
- Up to date knowledge of people processes and experience of applying these to create value-add HR metrics
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex HR data into meaningful charts, reports and presentations, showing key themes and trends that are suitable for the relevant audience
- High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly computer literate and experienced operating with all Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel
- Proficient in utilising data analysis tools and methodologies (Power BI, SQL, Python, coding)
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field would be beneficial for this role
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry is advantageous
