Our Programme Lifecycle:
At the core of our Engineer in Training Programme is authentic leadership. Our Graduates are given the opportunity to grow through a 3-year development programme, laying a strong foundation for a successful career. We begin with a practical introduction to our working environment, where Engineers in Training will kickstart their career in our Sugar manufacturing plants and gain experience which enables them to take ownership and responsibility of real business projects.
Coupled with providing exposure, we invest in our Engineers in Training personal development and growth through training, mentorship and structured developmental plans. Engineers in Training are expected to have high levels of drive and initiative to remain focused on their development and contribution to the greater team.
The Management Trainees: Engineers in Training that are successful in our programme may be required to rotate across various sites or provinces and register as a Professional Engineer. Successful incumbents therefore must be willing to relocate.
Organic Essentials:
- Completed studies or currently in the final year of study in B.Engineering / B.Sc Engineering / BTech Engineering (Chemical)
- Good academic results in your majors in 2nd and 3rd year
- South African citizen
- Preference will be given to applicants from the Nkomazi area
- Sugar industry background is preferred
- Computer Literacy (MS Office, including Excel and Word)
- A valid South African driver’s license (Preferred)
