We’re looking for a seasoned project manager to help successfully deliver various initiatives as part of the +more customer Programme. This role will assist with the programme’s day-to-day operations by collaborating with various stakeholders to lead operations, people and systems related processes.
This role will ensure the successful implementation of scope in highly impacted areas in different operating companies. This role will create the structure to ensure that the programme scope and quality is achieved on time and in budget and will be required to manage the dependencies, create visibility of progress through appropriate reporting and present to key stakeholders at relevant forums.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful planning, design, execution, monitoring, reporting and controlling of initiatives in scope
- Manage the project schedule and plan the activities that need to happen, in sequence
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver on various project requirements
- Strategically influence and partner with operating companies and IT solution teams to embed the changes required
- Manage interdependencies between the different streams of work
- Ensure that the project is at the right level of quality
- Ensure that the benefits are realised
- Manage risks and issues and dependencies on a daily basis, and closure thereof
- Manage a communication and project plan to support the successful implementation of +more initiatives
- Help to develop operational procedures, policies and ways-of-working to ensure the successful delivery of +more initiatives
Job Requirements
- Functional project experience - ideally Retail and customer acquisition and retention
- Bachelor’s Degree or qualification with certified project management qualification(s)
- Minimum of 5-years working experience in a complex project environment
- Above-average computer literacy (we work in Google Suite)
- Competencies required: Attention to detail, Effective verbal and written communication skills,
- Team player, Sound business acumen, Interpersonal and problem solving skills, Resourcefulness,
- Results driven, Self-motivated
