Dispatch and Check-in manager – Warehouse Operations
Location: Parow Industrial
Schedule: Monday–Saturday | Afternoon / Early evening shift
We are looking for energetic candidates to join our team on this critical shift. This is a working role where you will be actively involved in the loading and check-in process, while directing and instructing staff to ensure operations run efficiently and according to company standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are loaded accurately and efficiently, while maintaining warehouse standards and carrying out instructions from senior management. The same goes for checking in stock on returning vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and participate in loading, dispatch and check-in operations
- Lead and direct warehouse staff to complete tasks
- Enforce company procedures and operational standards
- Identify errors and take corrective action
- Ensure vehicles are loaded and checked-in correctly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Communicate with management regarding operational issues
- Assist with general warehouse and dispatch tasks as required
- Take ownership of assigned areas and address non-compliance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or logistics supervisory role is a bonus
- Strong understanding of dispatch and loading processes and procedures alike
- Hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable and able to work extended hours
