An opportunity exists for an exceptional Sports Teacher to join the school from 1 January 2027.
Role Overview:
The Sports Teacher will guide girls of all skill levels in developing a love for physical activity and sports, while nurturing confidence and a lifelong passion for sports in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
- Teach Physical Education and Sports lessons as per the academic timetable
- Involvement with the Girls Junior and Senior Prep Sports Programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
- Coach and umpire as required
- Assist with all Sports Demonstrations and Sporting Events
- Assist with teaching certain academic lessons
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- SACE Registration
- Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes - basketball/hockey/netball/soccer
- Accredited swimming qualification (LTS)
- Must be a proficient swimmer
- Experience coaching and officiating athletics, pickleball and swimming would also be considered
- Own transport would be advantageous
