Education
-
Matric with Mathematical subjects
-
Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field.
Knowledge and experience-
5 + years’ experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry
-
Experience in freight forwarding pricing area (estimates, rates management, tender management)
-
Client orientation - Some customer interface experience preferable
-
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Communication skills (verbal & written)
-
Situation analysis and problem solving
-
Interpersonal skills
-
Time management – must work well under pressure (Turnaround time between 2 – 4 hours for airfreight quotes)

Detail oriented - Accuracy and attention to details

Ability to manage a team

Experience in and ability to communicate, negotiate and coordinate with stakeholders across the global and management spectrum.

Good process, workflow and task management. Ability to build, track and adapt work plans to deadline.
