Accountant
Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient and accurate maintenance of the general accounting functions for all activities associated with the Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Management Reporting, month-end and year-end functions.

Core activities
- Full accounting function up to trial balance
- Assist with preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Capture and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Process journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with budget preparation and expense monitoring.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative and audit support as required.
- Maintain PFMA regulations, GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standard principles
Education Requirements
- Relevant Accounting/Bookkeeping Qualification
Experience Requirements
- 5+ year’s experience in full Accounting function
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Sage 200 Evolution
