Role overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native business applications. The successful candidate will work across the full development lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through to deployment and support — building robust back-end services in .NET and responsive front-end interfaces in React, all hosted on Microsoft Azure.
This role suits a developer who is keen to grow, writes clean and well-tested code, and is comfortable contributing to a disciplined, structured engineering process under the guidance of senior team members. Exposure to integrating AI capabilities (e.g. large language models) into production applications is a key differentiator for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET and React.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party services.
Develop and optimise relational data models and queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
Deploy, configure, and monitor applications on Microsoft Azure.
Integrate AI/LLM capabilities (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) into application workflows through effective prompt design and API usage.
Manage source control, branching, and code reviews using GitLab (or equivalent).
Participate fully in the software development lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Write automated unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with team members, technical leads, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack.
Essential Skills & Experience
.NET development — strong proficiency in C# and the .NET platform (.NET 10 preferable), including building back-end services and APIs.
React — solid experience building component-based front-end interfaces, with a good command of JavaScript (and ideally TypeScript).
Microsoft Azure — practical experience deploying and running applications in the Azure cloud (e.g. App Service, SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault).
Source control — hands-on experience with GitLab or equivalent (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket), including branching strategies and merge/pull request workflows.
Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies, particularly in the rapidly evolving AI space.
