Role Purpose:
The Mechanical Supervisor/Foreman will assist in coordinating and overseeing the production and installation of Mechanical and Plumbing services on various contracts. This role involves liaising with technical teams to ensure specifications are met, as well as managing site coordination and production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Programming:
- Advise on coordination, sequencing, and resource planning for installations.
- Interpret and scrutinize drawings, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of plan discrepancies.
Site Administration:
- Comply with company policies and procedural requirements for site management.
- Monitor subcontractor progress, ensuring timely placement of orders for labour, plant, and materials.
- Prepare and submit progress, coordination, and scheduling reports.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Report and monitor corrective actions for non-compliance issues.
SHEQ Assurance:
- Maintain site safety standards in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Ensure the safety of working conditions, equipment, and issue safety gear.
