Minimum Recuirements, Qualifications and Experience:

Tertiary Education essential - Marketing Degree Preferred

Proven sales track record as Sales Manager/Director - with a Minimum of 7 years of sales experience preferably in the Hotel, Food or Catering Industry

Computer Literate (ADVANCED Excel Pivot skills non negotiable)

Sound knowledge & experience in the corporate sales process

High Impact presentation and proposal writing experience
-
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
-
Sound financial knowledge and budgeting

Sound knowledge in building feasibilities
-
Strong negotiation and analytical skills
-
Track record of achieving sales targets and objectives

Own Vehicle & Driver’s license – Extensive Travel

Job Scope in general:
-
Lead the Sales / Business Development, Marketing and Social Media Team
-
Client database is scrutinised and leads and contracts are evaluated for business opportunities
-
Appointments are diarised on a planner and presentations are prepared
-
Appointments with prospective clients are attended to and the Company and its services are presented in a professional and appropriate manner
-
Prospective client needs and budgetary constraints are evaluated and an opportunity to present a formal proposal is secured
-
Visits to clients are made in accordance with planner and/or needs identified through feedback from operations
-
Co-ordinate Client Surveys in conjunction with clients and the operations team
-
Feedback on company services are elicited from clients
-
Issues identified through client interactions are brought to the attention of operations and/or other relevant department
-
Identified issues are followed up with clients within stipulated timeframes
-
Pipeline document in Teams is updated weekly and circulated to relevant management as stipulated
-
Required sales statistics are produced monthly in accordance with stipulated procedures
-
In liaison with relevant operations management quotations/proposals are prepared and presented to the prospective client within the stipulated timeframe

Deals are negotiated, closed and signed with the prospective client within stipulated cost parameters

Stipulated Sales Targets are met

Sales/Business development team are focused and have a “hunter” mindset

Required contractual detail is completed by client and signed contracts are distributed to relevant personnel

Company awareness is created through appropriate marketing and public relations activities.

External Marketing, Advertising & PR Providers are managed and monitored to ensure agreed upon objectives are met.

Planned Public Relations events achieve maximum impact on targeted market segments

Expenditure for public relations events is managed and controlled within approved budget parameters

Custodian of a Marketing and Branding collateral standards

Marketing collateral and sales support material meets branding requirements and is available at all times

Internal branding and corporate identity is accurate, consistently applied, and controlled to prevent unauthorised changes

Branding supports business objectives appropriately

Activities are planned annually and reviewed quarterly
