Full-time R324 000 a year

Our client is based in Sunninghill.
The client is usually closed for the building break over December period and will close this year on the 14th of December 2023 and will only open again on the 15thof January 2024.
The start date will be 15 January 2024.
They are flexible with further annual leave during the rest of the year.
The candidate will mainly be working on Excel for project-based budgeting vs actual as they are running multiple projects at once.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Sage One. (Advantageous).
Working knowledge of MS Office with a thorough understanding of MS. Excel at anIntermediate to Advanced Level.

Able to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheets, and word-processing programs proficiently.
Effective verbal and written communication skills (English).
Proactive, organised, able to plan and work well under pressure.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and fast learning ability.
Able to operate in a high-volume environment.
Good interpersonal skills.
Strong mathematical ability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cashbook allocations.
Upkeeping of actual vs budget reports.
Pre-pare and upkeep Asset registers.
Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations as and when required from external Accountants.
Perform financial costings and continuously update, monitor and review KPIs as andwhen required.
Handling of account queries, performing creditor reconciliations and preparing paymentschedules as and when required.
Assisting the external Accountants with ad-hoc tasks as may be given from time to time.
Analyses of expense categories as requested by the company or Accountants from timeto time.
Organizing and maintaining all filing systems in the finance department.
