An established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Durban is looking for motivated and ambitious SAIPA Trainee Accountants to join our growing team immediately.
The successful candidates will enter into a SAIPA training contract and gain practical exposure across a wide range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong academic background
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel experience advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
Key Responsibilities / Exposure
Trainees will obtain practical experience in:
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Processing and review of accounting records
- Management accounts
- VAT and tax compliance
- Payroll compliance
- SARS correspondence and queries
- Independent reviews and assurance engagements
- Client advisory services

Salary
- Dependent on qualifications and experience
