Applicants are invited to apply for the above-mentioned position to be based in the Planning Department, Springs.
The successful candidate will report to the Master Planner.
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and optimize the operational and tactical production plans for operations.
- Ensure that the cellar plan meets the packaging plan on time & in full & to ensure plans are aligned to national and international demands.
- Ensure right stock levels at the plant level to meet stock targets.
- Ensure a stable production plan by optimally using production facilities and employees.
- Monitor and optimize operations capacity.
- Drive & maintain minimum raw materials levels.
- Manage & Support site team in management of high-risk materials, expiry & Write-offs.
- Manage & Support site-level production planning personnel in supply chain planning and management.
- Assist Sales and Marketing in the planning of NPD launches and promotions from a bottling perspective!
- Create and manage production order reservations.
- Ensure that valid planning information always maintained in the SAP planning system.
- Ensure effective production planning administration and reporting.
- Ensure competent and motivated personnel within the planning department.
- Ensure adherence & compliance to the Quality Management System and relevant policies, procedures, work instructions and Standard Operating Principles always.
- Drive innovation and business improvements in support of operational goals.
- Perform stand-in duties from time to time.
The Successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills:
- A tertiary qualification in industrial engineering, production management, Logistics,Supply chain management or relevant Qualification .
- 1-2 years of experience within a manufacturing planning environment
- Ability to seamlessly manage a dual/manual system process
- High acumen of SAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with site management and planners.
- Ability to persevere with tasks and display resilience when confronted with adversity.
- Strong Analytical abilities
- Strong diligence & mindfulness is essential.
