We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet) for:
- Provide commentary and insights on performance vs budget and prior periods
- Highlight risks, trends, and opportunities
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting process across all branches and divisions
- Maintain rolling forecasts and update based on actual performance
- Support strategic planning and growth initiatives
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Manage and forecast cash flow across the groupon a weekly basis
- Quarterly review of stock levels and working capital efficiency
Financial Controls & Compliance
- Maintain and enforce financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with:
- SARS (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- Statutory and regulatory requirements
· Maintaining accurate inventory records and protecting company assets through effective controls and oversight
Group Asset Finance & Deal Structuring Support
- Oversee financial aspects of asset finance company
- Support sales and admin teams with:
- Deal profitability checks
- Costing validation
- Margin protection
- Liaise with finance houses where required (high-level oversight)
Strategic Business Partnering
- Provide financial input on:
- Pricing strategies
- Cost management
Profitability & Cost Control
- Monitor branch and product profitability
- Analyse:
- Hardware vs services margins
- Cost of sales
- Overheads
Systems, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Ensure integration between:
- Sales systems
- Billing systems
- Accounting platforms
Qualifications:
· Degree in Finance
· No registration at a professional board required
Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
