Job Description
The purpose of this is role is to support the De Beers business strategy to directly drive business value, by delivering fit for purpose IM Enterprise Architecture.
The role Plays a key role in supporting the Enterprise Applications and Architecture function with the definition, direction, and evolution of the De Beers IM solution architecture landscape.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Work with business and IM leaders to understand strategic priorities and align these to the architecture priorities and how this influences the IM strategy.

Develop and document IT solution architectures for De Beers, based on business and in-flight/emerging solutions strategy and requirements, working closely closely with business stakeholders and peers across functions ensure alignment to the overall Enterprise Architecture (EA) for Global IM, whilst balancing goals and constraints

Partake in the Architecture and Standards Review process for changes to the architecture landscape.

Create, maintain and communicate architectural blueprints, patterns, principles, and standards.

Provide architecture consulting services to strategic projects across the De Beers group.

Ensures the embedment and partakes in the development of the of the Global IM Solutions Architecture practice and capability.

Works with the Global IM teams to mobilise the optimal programme and project resourcing to drive integrated solutions and business-outcomes.

Tracks, identifies and applies innovative technologies in the Solution Architecture space.

Develop and present gap analyses and/or IT investment roadmaps that reflect the status of the existing De Beers IT estate, namely, its ability to contribute to future-state business capabilities in respect to ecosystems and digital platforms.

Partake in demand, portfolio, and project management as required.
Qualifications
The successful incumbent must meet the following criteria:

An undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM, business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience

Experience working in a multinational, multi-cultural environment
-
Global solutions architecture experience and strong business relationships
-
IT Service Delivery
-
Compliance / Assurance
-
Managing across boundaries and matrix structures

TOGAF or comparable certification
REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
