About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Service Manager for our Ford dealership in Kroonstad, focusing on delivering exceptional service and operational efficiency within our service department. This role will oversee the service team, manage customer relationships, and ensure the highest standards of service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team to achieve performance targets and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement service strategies to meet customer needs while optimizing operational efficiency.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and service appointments, ensuring a positive experience throughout the process.
- Monitor and evaluate service department performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Collaborate with technicians to diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring timely completion of service work.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop team members, providing ongoing support and performance feedback.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to streamline operations and enhance service offerings.
Requirements
- Proven track record in a service management role within the automotive industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of service department operations and customer service best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
