Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a Travel Consultant at a prestigious luxury travel company. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join a dynamic team. This remote role involves creating bespoke, tailor-made holidays for their discerning clients in the UK and US markets, with a focus on Southern and East Africa. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong sales background, in-depth knowledge of the travel industry, and expertise in using Amadeus and Penguin systems.
Location: Remote (South Africa)
Salary: R25,000 – R30,000
Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences and requirements, offering expert advice and recommendations to create unforgettable holiday experiences.

Tailor-Made Itineraries: Design and sell bespoke travel packages to Southern and East Africa, ensuring all elements meet the luxury standards expected by clients.

Booking Management: Use Amadeus for flight bookings and Penguin for reservation and account management, ensuring all bookings are accurate and efficiently processed.

Sales Performance: Drive sales to meet and exceed targets, maintaining a high conversion rate and exceptional client satisfaction.

Market Insight: Stay updated with the latest travel trends and luxury offerings in Southern and East Africa, providing clients with cutting-edge and exclusive travel options.

Customer Service: Provide excellent post-booking support, ensuring all travel arrangements run smoothly and clients have a seamless travel experience.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience: Proven sales experience in the travel industry, specifically in selling luxury, tailor-made holidays to Southern and East Africa.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Amadeus for flight bookings and Penguin for reservation and account management systems.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a customer-centric approach.
