Position Summary

The role will develop, manage, and sustain a profitable brand by understanding, anticipating, creating and meeting consumer needs.
A day in the life of the Assistant Brand Manager:
Know your consumer deeply - understand the consumer behaviour by conducting qualitative and quantitative studies in liaison with the local research team and research partners.-
Inspire with Brand Vision and Essence - deeply understand, actively and consistently ensure the Brand Essence governs everything the brand says and does.

Delight with Product & Packaging Experience Deliver nutritious & tasty products to our target consumers and always be superior to competition. Contribute to the development of relevant and preferred packaging & product solutions to improve the consumer experience. Understand the basics of nutrition and how it can be leveraged to enhance your brand’s competitive advantage.

Win with Shoppers - Understand the relevant shopping environment & behaviours and how this can be leveraged to delight shoppers and improve performance. Have a basic understanding of relative price of products within the brand – and versus other brands/products.
- Innovate Bigger Bolder Better - Passionately seek out ideas and leverage internal & external resources to contribute to the development of an innovation pipeline. Ensure consumer-centricity, apply Innovation levers, maintain vibrancy via relevant innovation & renovation for brands to deliver against commercial objectives. Accountable and responsible for providing quality Concept briefs to the I&R and Project Managers

Plan and Executive Flawlessly - Contribute to the development and execution of a strong brand plan and work together with CDT & Commercial Team. Understand how Brand Health is tracked and monitor the performance of your brand. Manage PFME and understand the business impact of marketing spend (PFME) to the P&L.

Create Engaging Brand Experiences - Contribute and manage the development process of creating Ownable Brand Propositions and Big Ideas. Work in partnership with communication agencies to develop engaging business building communication. Ensure all brand communication contributes to enhancing the company image of a trusted NHW leader. Embrace e-business and Digital to drive brand and business performance.

Financial & Business Acumen - PFME Budget management and P&L understanding.
What will make you successful

Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communication or Digital
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in FMCG or Nutrition/Pharma

Proven track record to work independently
