Job Title: PDI Preparation Technician

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines.
· Inspect vehicle mechanical, electrical, and safety systems.
· Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and delivery ready.
· Complete inspection checklists and service documentation accurately.
· Install accessories and optional equipment where required.
· Check fluid levels, battery condition, tyre pressure, lights, and warning systems.
· Wash, polish, and prepare vehicles for showroom display or customer delivery.
· Identify and report defects, damage, or missing components.
· Carry out minor repairs and adjustments when necessary.
· Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good condition.
· Follow safety regulations and quality control procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Matric certificate
· Automotive technical qualification or relevant workshop experience preferred.
· Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
· Experience in vehicle servicing or dealership environments is advantageous.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
