Purpose: As a Deli counterhand, your responsibility is to ensure excellent customer service and serve customers meals in the deli department
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation and maintenance of deli equipment; cleaning of equipment and reporting of malfunctions
Ensure excellent health and hygiene standards in the department; ensure counters are clean and sanitized
Prepare bain Maries and display on the counter; ensure pricing is correct and food is wrapped and weighed as requested.
Ensure excellent customer services; greet customers and attend to their request and queries, address customer complaints and refer to the Manager if unable to resolve.
Requirements:
Grade 12
1 year experience in similar role
