Job Purpose:
To develop and grow the sales and market share of BMG’s product offering covering Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), by engaging with the BMG branch network and customers. To offer product training to staff and customers, technical advice on new and existing installations, monitor the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) market, perform competitor analysis, and identify new market and product opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understanding the PPE market, monitor market changes and perform competitor analysis.
- Regular communication of market needs to management.
- Forecast – plan short term and long-term goals.
- Monitor stock levels and work with Procurement Teams to ensure sufficient stock covers are in place to meet the Group’s sales demand.
- Ensure healthy margins by monthly review and pricing levels into the market.
- Product support is provided according to department plan.
- A professional attitude is displayed when interacting with customers and team.
- Customer requirements awareness.
- Customer satisfaction levels.
- Provide ongoing assessment and feedback of development.
- Team effectiveness is facilitated and assessed against standards and contingencies applied when required
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Technical trade or qualification.
- Computer literate essential.
- Min 5 years’ experience in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) market.
- Experience in Purchasing and Negotiating i.e. Trade/Contracts etc.
