Job Description
The Product & Trading Manager will lead the strategy, performance, and lifecycle management of the casino product portfolio, while ensuring strong alignment with sportsbook offerings to deliver a seamless customer experience.
The role requires:

End-to-end lifecycle ownership from roadmap through launch and optimisation

Data-driven decision-making within a regulated iGaming environment
You will be accountable for commercial performance, product innovation, governance, and supplier management across the South African market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

Define and maintain product roadmaps across:

Casino (content, lobby optimisation, search, promotions, recommendations)
-
Sportsbook (event discovery, betslip UX, in-play, account journeys)
-
Conduct market and competitor analysis within the South African iGaming landscape.

Identify growth opportunities and prioritise initiatives based on customer value, revenue impact, regulatory requirements, and feasibility.
2. Product Lifecycle & Delivery
-
Own the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch, optimisation, and retirement.

Translate commercial objectives into clear product requirements.
-
Work closely with engineering, DBA, and platform teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Ensure release governance, quality assurance, and strong operational controls.

Maintain clear product and process documentation.
3. Performance & Optimisation
-
Deliver accurate reporting across casino and sportsbook (turnover, GGR, margin, RTP).
-
Define and track KPIs for product and feature performance.
-
Drive optimisation through segmentation, funnel analysis, experimentation, and personalisation.

Identify performance gaps and enhance UX and customer journeys.
-
Incorporate user research and feedback into continuous improvement.
4. Trading & Supplier Oversight

Lead the Product & Trading function with accountability for commercial outcomes.

Manage sportsbook providers, traders, aggregators, and studio partners.
-
Oversee casino content curation, placement, and market-specific optimisation.
-
Ensure alignment between product, trading, and operations to maximise margin, engagement, and retention.

Maintain strong governance and regulatory compliance.
5. Stakeholder Leadership
-
Partner with trading, UX/UI, engineering, CRM, marketing, compliance, and executive teams.

Build alignment around product priorities and strategy.
-
Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

Mentor and scale product capability as the organisation grows.
