JOB SPEC – FETTLER
Role Purpose
To remove runners and risers and fettle to appropriate quality standards - cast surfaces
Key Responsibilities

Inspection of tools before using

Grinding and blending of parts.

Jackhammering of parts to remove burn on and sand lumps in parts and pencil grinding.

To clean tight areas in parts with use of Grinding tools and abrasives.

To use hammer and chisel to remove lumps in corners of parts.

Maintaining a neat working environment.
Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent technical grade

Min. 3 years experience in a fettling/grinding of metal components environment.

Valid forklift license advantageous
Salary range
R60 – R75 per hour dependant on experience
