Programme context. Luphindi Business Solutions is recruiting suitably qualified ICT professionals for a confidential, large-scale enterprise infrastructure and SD-WAN programme. The programme will be delivered over five years, with main delivery hubs in Johannesburg and Durban and implementation work across South Africa. The target technology environment includes Cisco and Fortinet networking and secure SD-WAN solutions. Regular national travel is an essential requirement for deployment-related roles.
Role purpose
Provide data-driven deployment intelligence through dashboards, mapping, trend analysis and accurate reporting of site readiness, rollout and service status.
Key responsibilities
· Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for rollout, readiness, activation, quality and operational metrics.
· Create GIS maps showing site distribution, status, dependencies, carrier coverage and deployment progress.
· Integrate and reconcile data from programme schedules, site trackers, asset records and operational systems.
· Define data-quality rules and investigate gaps, duplicates and inconsistencies.
· Produce executive, regional and workstream-level reporting views.
· Support forecasting, prioritisation, route planning and deployment decision-making.
· Maintain data dictionaries, reporting logic and dashboard documentation.
· Provide recurring analysis of trends, bottlenecks and performance.
Minimum requirements
Qualification: Relevant degree or diploma in GIS, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Geography or a related field.
Mandatory certifications: Power BI and/or recognised GIS certification is mandatory.
Experience: Three to five years' experience producing operational dashboards, maps or deployment analytics.
Core technical competencies: Power BI; GIS and mapping; data modelling; Excel; reporting automation; data cleansing; dashboard development; deployment analytics; spatial analysis.
