Are you a skilled IT professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry? We're seeking an IT Technician to join our team and support our 5-star hospitality environment.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a professional person capable of working in a 5-star hospitality environment as part of a small team.
Interaction with staff, suppliers, and occasionally hotel guests will be key.
Must be prepared to be on standby over some weekends to resolve any guest-facing issues as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
️ Monitor and support IT systems, including administration of phones (cell phones and IP phones), CCTV, access control, POS, video conference systems, network, workstations, and printing.
️ Resolve any guest-facing issues promptly and efficiently.
Provide support to staff and guests with IT-related inquiries.
Assist with phone system administration and troubleshooting.
Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV and access control systems.
Ensure the smooth operation of video conference systems.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure.
️ Troubleshoot and maintain workstations and printing equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 5-star hospitality environment.
️ Proficiency in IT systems monitoring and support.
Familiarity with phone system administration.
Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
️ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, suppliers, and guests.
Basic network troubleshooting skills.
️ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to be on standby over weekends as required.
Salary Range: R28,000 - R32,000 per month
