Position: Quality Controller
Location: DALS Montague Gardens
Our company is looking for a skilled Quality Controller to join our automotive panel shop team. As the final quality checkpoint, you will ensure all repaired vehicles meet manufacturer standards, safety requirements, and our high standards of workmanship before being delivered to our clients.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Quality Controller in an automotive panel shop.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Panel beating and structural/body repairs
- Spray painting processes and paint finish quality
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Computer literate with the ability to maintain accurate inspection records.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections on repaired vehicles before delivery.
- Compare completed repairs against job cards to ensure all work has been carried out accurately.
- Inspect workmanship, paint finish, panel alignment, and overall repair quality.
- Identify defects or incomplete repairs and ensure corrective action is taken before vehicle release.
- Verify that all components are correctly installed, aligned, and functioning safely.
- Test vehicle systems, including doors, windows, lights, mirrors, and other fitted components.
- Maintain detailed quality control records and inspection reports.
- Work closely with production staff to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
