Marketing Administrator
The Concept Works, a marketing and communication agency, is looking for an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Administrator to support the daily management of client projects and marketing activities.
The Marketing Administrator will act as the operational support of the agency, helping to ensure that campaigns, communication, reporting and administrative processes run smoothly. The role is intended to reduce the day-to-day marketing administration currently managed by the directors and allow the wider team to focus on strategy, creative work and client growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, timelines, deadlines and promotional activities.
- Assist with social media administration, content scheduling and post management.
- Support email campaigns, newsletters and digital communication.
- Collect marketing data and prepare basic campaign and performance reports.
- Maintain client databases, contact lists and internal marketing records.
- Assist with the planning and administration of webinars, events and promotional activities.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record meeting notes and follow up on action items.
- Manage tasks and project progress through Microsoft Teams and Trello.
- Organise digital marketing materials, reports and internal documentation.
- Assist with supplier communication, quotations, invoices and basic budget tracking.
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and team members.
- Support the team across multiple client accounts and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Key Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, Trello, Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
- Comfortable working with data, marketing reports and digital platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational, time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a small, fast-paced team.
- Comfortable managing multiple clients, projects and deadlines.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, digital marketing, communication and helping a team keep projects and client activities running efficiently.
Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
