Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a well-spoken and experienced Reservations Consultant (mid to Senior level) for a reputable small luxury lodge & hotel collection, at their offices based in Blairgowrie/Hyde Park area of Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure all interaction with guests and agents is professional, warm, welcoming and personalized.
- Respond to reservation communications from guests, agents and referral networks.
- Create and maintain reservation records, prepare confirmation letters and promptly process cancellations and modifications.
- Monitor room availability.
- Liaise with Front Office keeping them up to date with expected arrivals.
- Be familiar with room descriptions, location and layout of each property.
- Ensure your knowledge of all rates, special offers, value adds and any special agreements.
- Liaise with properties to book additional activities, transfers & flights for guests.
Minimum requirements:
- A minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in a similar position, dealing with luxury properties (multiple)
- Exceptional English abilities - written & spoken
- A passionate, energetic, hardworking team player with strong communication skills.
- A well-presented candidate who is able to stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines, and work accurately.
- A positive and reliable individual
- Must reside in the JHB area, as this is a live out position
Salary: R22,000 - R25,000 CTC, LIVE OUT
