Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a SAGE Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will support the efficient operation of multiple production departments, including the Non-Alcoholic beverages, Dairy and Gelato factories, by ensuring accurate processing of purchasing and stock-related transactions.
Requirements:
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with SAGE X3 or a similar ERP system will be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, with a collaborative approach
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage purchase orders within the SAGE system
- Capture and reconcile supplier invoices accurately
- Generate purchase orders as required
- Ensure accurate stock transfers between departments
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile physical stock with SAGE records
- Coordinate and consolidate orders across departments
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient and timely ordering processes
- Maintain organised records of invoices for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide general support for SAGE-related tasks and system requirements
