MAIN KPI’S FOR THIS ROLE
- To service and sell to the needs of existing customers
- To support the activities of the external sales team
- To provide competitive and accurate quotations to customers as per company lead times
- To provide timeous feedback to customers with regards to their orders
- Sourcing of new sales opportunities for the branch on inbound leads and following up thereof
- Outbound cold calling and emails to existing customers
- Process orders accurately in a timely manner on Syspro
- Securing Sales and ensure monthly targets set are achieved
- Respond timeously to new Sales inquiries
- Respond swiftly and courteously to customer complaints and enquires
- Amending of orders on request from Customers
- Route potential opportunities to the appropriate Sales Representative for further development and closure
- Assist Debtors Controller on keeping customers current on collection
- Provide delivery instructions to dispatch
- Liaise with Stock Administrator with regards to back order and ETA
- Upkeep of all internal records and customer database
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication
- Develop and maintain effective and professional sound customer relationships
- Conduct product training and demonstrating of products to customers
Experience: 3 Years as a Internal Sales Consultant in the Hardware/Fastener Industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
