Required for my client, a trendy, high volume casual fine dining restaurant on Cape Town's prestigious Atlantic Seaboard, an experienced restaurant office administrator with the following characteristics:
A pleasant, professional and outgoing manner and an ability to interact with staff and guests in a friendly and supportive way.
A well spoken and respectful telephone manner to handle telephonic bookings and queries from guests, staff and suppliers.
An ability to work unsupervised and to handle pressure.
A good communicator.
An ability to perform the following functions efficiently:

Experience in balancing and processing daily cash ups and ensuring all payments are taken.

Calculating and correctly and timeously paying out cash tips to FOH service staff.

Capturing staff HR paperwork as per company procedures.

Capturing invoices from F&B staff and loading them onto a shared drive.

Answering emails and routing them to the correct staff.

General office admin as directed.
Good Excel skills and a head for numbers are required. Experience in some or all of the following would be beneficial:

Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Micros POS

MyInventory
