Excel Intermediate to advanced is required.

Key user of Warehouse Management Systems preferably JDA Dispatcher (Red Prairie)

1+- years working in the Logistics/ Supply chain environment will be beneficial. Exposure and /or a keen interest in the following areas would be advantageous: o Experience with WMS (Blue Yonder Dispatcher) (JDA, Red Prairie) o Industrial engineering o Business analysis o Logistics and Supply Chain o CIP / Lean methodologies o Production logistics and warehousing o Retail / FMCG warehousing o Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel. Exposure to the Microsoft Power Suite will be a big advantage o Good understanding of Databases o Ability to work with data o Robotic Process Automation o Warehouse process optimization o Process gap analysis o Warehouse Best Practices: w.r.t. warehousing processes and inventory management, e.g. WERC, SCOR, etc.
Main purpose of the role
Form part of the team responsible for designing, planning and implementing warehousing and production logistics solutions. This role directly supports company objectives and contributes to identifying, analyzing & developing valueadding and robust solutions for current & prospective customers. Supporting current implementations of WMS and performing the interactive role between operations, the client and the WMS supplier/ vendor. As a WMS engineer, you will mainly carry out projects aimed at setting up and optimising logistics information systems/applications. It is vital for the success of this position for the candidate to effectively align customer needs and solutions, with DSV values, policies and Solutions strategy to directly support sustainable and profitable business.
Duties and Responsibilities
To form part of a WMS implementation team throughout the implementation process including the following activities: o Warehouse process analysis o Warehouse process optimization o Process gap analysis o Implementation documentation creation o WMS modification design o Interface mapping o Data setup o Data build and data loading o System setup o System and modification testing o Business readiness testing o Interface testing o Form part of Continuous Improvement programme by identifying and implementing Continuous improvements in operational/ systemic areas. Travel: Reasonable local and international travel requirement to use knowledge, skills and experience in support of relevant DSV business objectives.
Warehouse Management Systems: Knowledge of key functions and features of systems used by DSV, in support of solutions development, sales activities and implementations; Knowledge of RedPrairie/ Blue Yonder/ JDA will be beneficial. Support: Support current instances of WMS implementations; Assessments of current WMS solutions Liaison with various global IT teams including EDI. IT Solutions and support, Global BCM application engineering
