We are seeking for a Turnkey HVAC Project Manager role which is a full-time, on-site position based in Cape Town.
The role involves overseeing end-to-end HVAC projects, including planning, coordinating, and executing installation, maintenance, and refurbishment work in residential, commercial, office, and industrial environments. Daily tasks include managing project timelines and budgets, liaising with clients, architects, and suppliers, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Turnkey HVAC Project Manager will supervise technical teams, troubleshoot on-site issues, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure that all systems are commissioned and handed over efficiently. The role also includes preparing BOQ and reports, monitoring performance, and maintaining strong customer service.
Requirement:
-Strong technical proficiency in Turnkey HVAC systems and related disciplines, including installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
-Working knowledge of Plumbing and its integration with HVAC and building services.
-Review HVAC enquiries, drawings, specifications and scope of work to determine project requirements.
-Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for HVAC installations.
-Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships.
-Proven project management ability, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
-Familiarity with relevant safety standards, building regulations, and industry best practices in HVAC and mechanical services.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors.
-Minimum of a relevant technical qualification or trade certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; additional project management training is an advantage.
-Previous experience in turnkey or large-scale HVAC projects, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
-Experience in HVAC drafting (optional in AutoCAD/Revit)
-Experience in tendering and cost estimation for HVAC projects
-Familiarity with tendering portals and bidding processes
-Present and promote HVAC products and services
-Assist in preparing BOQs and technical documentation
-10+ years of experience
-Valid Driver’s License
