Clover is looking for a System Support Controller: Primary Transport to understand, analyze and enhance Primary Distribution processes through structured continuous improvement . This position is based at Clover Head Office.
- Degreein Supply Chain advantageous
- 5 years relevant experience
- Business English: Fluent
- Computer literacy (Intermediate)
- Experience in working with senior management
Provide Primary System Support
- Provide 1st line system support for all Primary Transport applications.
- Coordinate vehicle visibility process on an ongoing basis (including external service providers), and ensure alignment with the Clover system
- Monitor and put corrective measures in place to increase visibility data and accuracy
- Assist Primary Planners with processes to increase vehicle visibility via the Primary dashboards and visibility tools
- Identify inefficiencies within the Primary Transport planning tools and find ways to correct this
- Communicate with service providers to seek new ideas to improve overall vehicle visibility and improved processes
- Update SOPs for primary transportation system support
Provide management support
- Analyze daily movement of Primary vehicles to identify inefficiencies within the total Primary Distribution network
- Create management reports to assist in understanding the movement and cost associated with the total Primary Distribution network
- Seek new ways to streamline the Primary Distribution process
- Monitor and report on operational KPI's daily/weekly/monthly
- Share accountability for the accuracy of income and cost data in the primary control system from a systems perspective.
Conduct administrative tasks
- Ensure all admin tasks associated with Primary Visibility are continuously updated, including the instalment or replacement of current tracking devices
- Ensure all Primary Transport Master Data is continuously updated for the Primary Control Tower and aligned with Clover Master Data
- Maintain all Primary Transport cost and income tariffs accurately, including monthly fuel updates and annual CPI adjustments.
- On-board, train and set up new primary service providers on the primary systems.
- Create administrative reports to streamline processes across Plato, Transact, Fleetvision and Quicksight, which support the Control Tower environment.
- Identify new ways to streamline administrative processes.
- Support month-end and year-end processing to ensure correct billing to suppliers and principals.
Drive continuous improvement activities
- Identify KPI's for total Primary Transport function and put measures in place for daily/weekly/monthly measurement
- Identify possible risks in the primary transport operation and systems and take corrective actions to minimize this risk
- Analyze effectiveness of the transport process and advise on corrective measures
