Indalo Hotels & Leisure is looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead and oversee all financial operations within the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and effective financial planning to support business performance and sustainability.
This role requires a hands-on financial leader who can manage complex financial systems, provide strategic insight, and ensure compliance with all statutory and internal financial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for financial management, systems, and reporting
- Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements within deadlines
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure accurate classification and recording of all financial transactions, including capital expenditure
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes
- Provide financial analysis, cost-saving initiatives, and profit improvement recommendations
- Manage statutory compliance including taxes, levies, and related submissions
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and resolve audit queries
- Lead and develop the finance and administration team
- Drive operational efficiency and financial discipline across the organisation
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
- Diploma or formal qualification in Finance / Accounting
Experience in:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and management accounts
- Team leadership in a finance environment
- Hospitality industry experience (advantageous)
Advantageous Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ senior financial management experience
- Strong experience in hospitality or multi-site operations
- Experience in regional or complex organisational finance structures
- Strong understanding of operational finance and business controls
